Title:  Mimosa Mist

Description: Mimosa Mist is a one-of-a-kind acrylic paint pour that was inspired by spring narcissus and crocus flowers.

Canvas treatment: Two applications of UV gloss clear coat.

Paint mixture: All the paints contain a mixture of pigment and paint conditioner.

Color Palette

Dominate colors: Titanium White, Dioxazine Purple, Yellow.

Contrast: High contrast colors of Yellow and Purple.

Harmonies: The color schemes includes both warm and cool colors to maintain contrast and interest while avoiding visual monotony.

Emotion: Attributes creativity and happiness.

Color blends: Purple and Yellow.

Technique: Dutch Pour. The paint was poured onto a base layer of white paint, and then the design was created using a hairdryer.

Formations and Shapes

Formations: Lacing or delicate web-like patterns were formed when the paint was moved across the canvas with air.

Shapes: Shapes of cellular patterns resembling bubbles flow throughout the three-piece panel.

Texture and Surface Effects:

Surface Texture: Smooth.

Surface Effects: Glossy.

Acrylic painting pours rely on gravity and movement, allowing paint to swirl and blend organically. This lack of control can symbolize emotional release, letting go, or embracing chaos.
